DV-Aware aims to build the knowledge & capacity of community workers to provide appropriate support to those experiencing violence. You'll learn how to recognise the signs of domestic & family violence, how to respond to someone experiencing domestic and family violence & what best practice methods should be used to refer people on to the most appropriate support service. Play your part in the National Plan to Reduce Domestic Violence & become a DV-Aware agent.

safeTALK is a half-day alertness workshop that prepares you, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper. safeTALK-trained helpers can recognise suicide invitations displayed by those in distress and take action by connecting them with life-saving intervention resources, such as caregivers trained in ASIST. safeTALK-trained helpers are an important part of suicide-safer communities, working alongside intervention resources to identify and avert suicide risks.

Providing the tools for appropriate assessment, review and development of agency policy and practice in response to Domestic Violence and Suicide Prevention. This training will provide you and your management team with an understanding of the importance of purposeful policy development, maintaining Domestic Violence and Suicide safe practices with agency staff and clients. Ensuring that your agency is using proven strategies and trauma informed practice when dealing with distressed clients or those who struggle with mental ill health. 

This training is recommended for Office managers, Licensee in Charge and owners of Real Estate Agencies.

This course is an industry tailored skills based workshop, independent to the Lifeline and LivingWorks training modules, that assists industry professionals to develop policy and procedures that reflect changes to legislation and appropriate practice in customer care.
